Dairy-free purple smoothies make a refreshing and healthy breakfast, drink or snack. Frozen blueberries and frozen blackberries give this smoothie it’s beautiful color and frozen banana gives it a nice creamy texture in place of yogurt.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C frozen blackberries
  • 1/2 C frozen blueberries
  • 1 frozen banana sliced (or 3 baby bananas)
  • 1 1/4 C unsweetened coconut milk*
  • splash of pure vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp. honey optional

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Use less milk if you like a thicker smoothie. Serve immediately.

Notes

* I used So Delicious Unsweetened Coconut Milk, When following a gluten-free diet, be sure to use gluten-free ingredients.
