- 1 C prepared hot chocolate
- 1 oz peppermint schnapps or 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
- whipped cream for garnish
- hot fudge sauce for garnish
- crushed candy cane bits for garnish
- whole candy canes for garnish
Combine the brewed coffee and prepared hot chocolate in a large mug. Stir in the peppermint schnapps or peppermint extract.
Garnish with whipped cream, a drizzle of hot fudge sauce, crushed candy cane pieces, and a whole candy cane if desired. Drink immediately.
For a cocktail, use the peppermint schnapps. For a mocktail, use the peppermint extract.
