Slow Cooker Cinnamon Applesauce

4.78 from 40 ratings
This is a super easy recipe for cinnamon applesauce made right in your slow cooker. Warm cinnamon applesauce is so comforting and makes the perfect year round snack or side dish for pork. Enjoy it warm or cold.

Ingredients

  • 9 medium Granny Smith apples peeled, cored and cut into chunks
  • 1/2 C brown sugar
  • 1 C water
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp ground cloves

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a slow-cooker and cook on low for 6 hours.
  • After 6 hours, mash apples to desired thickness. I use a potato masher because I like my applesauce with some chunks of apple in it.
  • Serve warm or cold.
