Blackberry Moscow Mule

I’ve been meaning to share a cocktail recipe with you for quite some time and just haven’t gotten to it until now, but it has been well worth the wait! Today, I bring you a refreshing Blackberry Moscow Mule.

Moscow Mules are still one of my favorite drinks. I shared a Cranberry Orange Moscow Mule for the holidays, but now it’s time to move into spring flavors. Enter – blackberries. Blackberries aren’t quite in season yet, but they will be soon! Luckily, blackberries are readily available year round at the grocery store.

One thing that’s not available year round, though, is the Canada Dry® Blackberry Ginger Ale that I used to make the Blackberry Moscow Mule; which makes this drink special because it’s not quite the Moscow Mule norm.

Usually, you’d use ginger beer to make a Moscow Mule but I saw the Canada Dry® Blackberry Ginger Ale at Stop & Shop (also available at all Ahold stores) and I really wanted to use it to add some extra blackberry flavor.

Blackberry Ginger Ale

Canada Dry™ is made with real ginger so it’s still got that gingery zip you expect with a Moscow Mule. Plus, the Canada Dry® Blackberry Ginger Ale is such a gorgeous purple color AND it’s only available from March to May 2016 so I wanted to use it while I could.

These Blackberry Moscow Mules are a really great drink. Perfect for brunch, Mother’s Day, Tuesday nights, signature wedding drinks, you name the occasion and the drink will fit! Just maybe not at a baby shower unless you make the mocktail version…

Whatever the occasion, enjoy!
