This skinny coconut margarita is lightened up with Bai5 in place of cream of coconut. They’re refreshing, crisp, and perfect for any margarita lover.
Thank you Bai5 for the awesome case of sublime beverages ♥
Skinny Coconut Margarita
I have a new addiction. It’s name is Bai5. It’s my new go-to drink alternative to water and coffee.
There are so many great flavors but so far, my faves are blueberry, clementine and of course, coconut. Coconut being the inspiration for this fine, fabulous skinny coconut margarita.
This margarita is really lightened up from the original cream of coconut laden margarita. Don’t get me wrong, that version is delicious. And I could drink them for days. But really, the skinny version is the way to go if you actually want to be able to drink them for days.
(psst: you can drink more…! {as long as you drink responsibly people.})

These coconut margarita recipes are pretty straight forward. They’re pretty much modeled after my Jalapeño Margarita recipe because I really like the tequila:grand marina:lime juice ratio. I used the Bai5 Molokai Coconut in place of the agave nectar. I did use a little bit more of the coconut since it’s not as sweet as the agave simple syrup and I wanted to have a little stronger coconut flavor.
These margaritas are almost like having a classic margarita but with a really refreshing and subtlety delicious coconut flavor. They’re also strong so if you like a weaker margarita, feel free to use less tequila or grand marnier. We like our drinks strong 😉
They’re so good and they’re perfect for sipping on. Enjoy!

Hi was doing skinny type margarita with the BAI Limu Lemon, fresh squeezed orange juice, a little club soda, Limes and of course Tequila. I have no ratios just add more lemon drink less OJ. Still trying to perfect it. Any suggestions welcome. thanks
Hi Susan, for 1 drink, I would definitely measure it and start with 2 oz Tequila, 1 oz Lime juice, 1 oz Cointreau or Grand Marnier and then top it off with the fresh orange juice and Limu Lemon Bai. Hope that helps 🙂
